I understand you wanting to do your own thing with Solid Gold Death Mask, but is there any way to convince you to stay? I’m almost misty. I feel like I’m losing TG for a second time. I’ve LOVED relaunching Tank Girl, (from hooking up Ashley Wood with alan, to taking over and drawing it, and helping find new publishing homes for her) and drawing the 6 series.

It’s been amazingly fun. Unfortunately the writer no longer wants to work with me, which is entirely his decision… I’d have like to have done more TG, but it’s not to be, I’m afraid. It was not my decision. I am very sorry.

There’s no bad blood, we just wanted different things.

So….. I’m off to work on new fun stuff instead!

I’ll be working for DC Comics, 2000ad, ThreeA Toys, and my own project, SOLID GOLD DEATH MASK.

I’ll still do TG commission pieces, and tattoo designs, and probably my own TG illos, as I like drawing her. You can always PM me about that, here, or on Facebook.

I’m incredibly proud to have helped give Tank Girl a second chance at life, and I’m immensely grateful for all the kindness I’ve received from the readers and fans of her.
