Hi Rufus, my names Laurence i own the clothing company called "2 Many Printers" we feature artists from all over the globe to bring there artwork to t shirts and other apparel, i really dig Tank Girl, i think you, jamie and alan really create something unique together. I think my oldest favourite toys are the first Gundam robots from the 70s…they’re really clunky, and will always have a special place in my heart, I grew up in Tokyo, so they were some of the first robots I played with.
I loved watching Gundam, but had NO idea what was going on, as I couldn’t speak Japanese…so would make up my own stories…
I like watching old war films like ‘Where Eagles Dare’ while I work, so I can sit there like a mental 7 year old making machine gun sound FX. Classy huh?

I love faces… getting the eyes right is the difference between an ok, and great piece of art. It’s like meeting someone, you look in their eyes..that’s where everything starts.

Merci! Yup…Thankfully don’t get called ‘Mister’ much! I tend to sign my art ‘Ruf’, as I’m too bloody lazy to write my whole name, and now I get lots of people calling me that… Only myself to blame…

ANYONE can do what I do… really… all you have to do is draw…all the time. Look at stuff, how people stand, how they laugh, and draw it.
Drawing is wonderful, and you can do it anywhere. It’s let me travel, and meet soooo many cool people. I’ve met so many artists, writers, fans and random people who’ve inspired me, and also made me feel so lucky for getting to do what I do.
I look forward to seeing your work… draw lots… all the time!
